What to Expect From Us

During the legal process, you’ll be sharing some personal details with us so we want to make your experience is as comfortable and relaxed as possible. We purposely avoid feeling, sounding or looking like a typical stuffy law office. Instead, our office has a casual atmosphere. Most importantly, all our staff is exceptionally professional, yet personable and ready to help and listen at all times.

All communication with our law firm is strictly confidential.

Our team will keep you at the center of the entire process and will tailor your strategy to your unique situation. This approach helps to create desirable outcomes while minimizing unnecessary emotional and financial stress. Our client-centered culture is driven by a team of professionals who all embrace our philosophy and core principles.

The Process

1. Contact

Call our office to speak with us so we can gather some background information by asking you some general questions. Once we determine that we can assist in your situation, we’ll schedule a confidential, legal consultation so we can discuss your matter in more detail.

2. Meet

During the legal consultation, we will discuss all the facts as well as answer all of your questions and/or concerns about your family matter. This is also a good opportunity to assess and evaluate the fit. After the consultation, you’ll receive a written assessment recapping the legal advice in a formal document.

3. Retain

At this stage, you will have had the opportunity to evaluate the fit, and you will have the information to make the appropriate decisions specific to your situation. Should you wish to retain Jolene Shkooratoff for your matter, you will sign our standard retainer agreement and make an initial payment to start the legal process.
